AWARE: Archives of Women Artists, Research and Exhibitions is a non-profit organisation, co-founded in 2014 by Camille Morineau, art historian and specialist in the history of women artists. Its goal is the creation, indexation and distribution of information on women artists of the 19th and 20th centuries: “I have created AWARE: Archives of Women Artists, Research and Exhibitions in 2014, so that we could rewrite art history from a more gender-equal perspective. It is high time we place women artists at the same level as their male counterparts by bringing their work into the spotlight.”

Feminidad, masculinidad, estereotipos, roles asignados… son algunos de los temas que trata el proyecto Relecturas. Itinerarios Museales en Clave de Género. Este proyecto, subvencionado por la Generalitat Valenciana y a través de un estudio de la Universitat de València, ofrece miradas diversas dirigidas a las colecciones que albergan cada uno de los museos participantes, con la intención de generar nuevos discursos que permitan al visitante reflexionar acerca del papel de la mujer, de los mitos patriarcales o de la desigualdad social entre hombres y mujeres.

MAV somos la asociación de Mujeres en las Artes Visuales, compuesta por más de 670 socias procedentes de todos los territorios del Estado español, que abarcamos los diversos ámbitos de las artes: investigadoras, artistas, comisarias, gestoras culturales, docentes, galeristas, periodistas especializadas, directoras, coordinadoras y técnicas de centros de arte, editoras, diseñadoras, críticas, coleccionistas, arquitectas, etc.
Trabajamos como una entidad sin ánimo de lucro, juntas y de forma horizontal para conseguir nuestro principal objetivo: promover la igualdad real y efectiva entre mujeres y hombres dentro de nuestro sector, exigiendo la aplicación del artículo 26 de la Ley de Igualdad.

El proyecto de investigación Las artistas en la escena cultural española y su relación con Europa, 1803-1945 (PID2020-117133GB-I00) está financiado por la Agencia Estatal de Investigación del Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación (Gobierno de España). El proyecto tiene como objetivos esenciales establecer un marco teórico, abordar una investigación comparada entre los distintos países europeos e indagar en la imagen de la mujer como artista.

Sonora: músicas e feminismos es una red colaborativa que reúne artistas e investigadorxs interesadxs en manifestaciones feministas en el contexto de las artes. Surgió en abril de 2015 a partir de la necesidad de dar visibilidad y posibilitar el diálogo sobre el trabajo artístico de las mujeres. Desde entonces, realizamos reuniones semanales presenciales en el Departamento de Música de la Escuela de Comunicaciones y Artes de la Universidad de São Paulo, con el apoyo del NuSom – Núcleo de Investigaciones en Sonología de la USP, con transmisión en línea y participación virtual de miembrxs de la red. Sonora propone la creación y ocupación de espacios, la realización de investigaciones y debates, y está involucrada en actividades musicales y sonoras de diversas vertientes. Sonora está atravesada por incertidumbres, indefiniciones, reticencias, aperturas, afectividades, sensibilidades y ruidos.
